U.S. – Ireland Economic Summit 2024
On Thursday, October 24th, U.S. Ambassador to Ireland Claire D. Cronin hosted the 100 years: U.S. – Ireland Economic Summit. The Summit was attended by leaders from across business, politics, public service, state agencies, and the community and civil society sectors.
2024 marks 100 years of diplomatic relations between the United States and Ireland. The economic relationship between the United States and Ireland is one of the greatest success stories of our relationship, with trade and investment now worth more than $1 trillion.
The Summit will be an expert-led exploration of some of the key challenges and opportunities currently facing the United States and Ireland including: Supply chain disruptions, inflationary pressures, geopolitical shifts, energy and climate change.
